Gay comic Todd Glass will be a headliner at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at The LINQ Promenade, it’s been announced.

Glass is perhaps best known for his 2018 Netflix special Todd Glass: Act Happy and appearances on Last Comic Standing and for his 2001 Comedy Central Presents special. He’s also appeared regularly on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and a string of other talk shows.

Speaking of Kimmel, the comedian was raised in Las Vegas from the age of nine and even attended UNLV for a year. That history is likely what made Sin City the perfect home for his Comedy Club, which he curated and designed.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club features late night shows, surprise guests, high-end casual cuisine and memorabilia. Complete with an expandable showroom that seats up to 300 guests, the dual-level 8,000 square-foot venue provides an optimal setting for both the audience and performers alike. Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club offers performances Thursday through Sunday at 8pm with additional shows at 10pm on select days. The bar and lounge located on the floor level of the club opens at 4pm on show nights. The club showcases comedians ranging from household names to up-and-coming talent curated by Kimmel and his team. 

Glass is set to perform in Vegas on Sept. 26 and 29 at 8pm, and on Sept. 27 and 28 at both 8pm and 10pm.

The stand-up comic came out as gay in 2012 while on the podcast WTF with Marc Maron. 

“I cannot listen to stories about kids killing themselves any longer without thinking [to myself], ‘When are you going to have a little blood on your shirt for not being honest about who you are?’” he reasoned at the time.

Glass, who’s released several comedy albums, also has his own widely popular podcast, The Todd Glass Show, which debuted in 2011.

He also published a book in 2014, hilariously titled “The Todd Glass Situation: A Bunch of Lies about My Personal Life and a Bunch of True Stories about My 30-Year Career in Stand-Up Comedy.”
